Are those stud Rocket receivers the same ones that were no where to be found against the Buckeyes?

Unfortunately, I think this one's Taint's to lose. Not that he doesn't make some huge plays for ND, but do it with some class.

looks like the chance of Barnes winning the Biletnikoff just got even better as SU receiver Mike Williams decided to leave the team.

And the funniest part was when they referred to him being "quiet" or similar for much of game... EIGHT catches, over ONE HUNDRED yds. of catches is QUIET? Guess I'll take it...as would MOST WR's in the college ranks.

The finalists come out this week, good luck Freddie!

Everytime I watch that douche from Notre Dame strut, pose and jaw after making a catch, I'm doubly glad we have Freddie Barnes. Kid makes plays, gets up and makes another play. When the play is in the endzone, he celebrates with his team and jogs off the field. Class.

Tell ya what, if ever there was a year that an outstanding MAC WR would get the shot to be a finalist or win the award this is it. He's got the best stats by far. Throw in the guys getting suspended, quitting their teams, and getting hurt, and there is a very good chance he could win this thing.

That's what I keep telling myself. I'm hoping. Being a finalist would be awesome enough, but I agree that he has the numbers to win it. I still think many voters will find a reason to NOT vote for him, unfortunately, but you never know.

Dante Ridgeway was a finalist in 2004 and Randy Moss won it in '97, though I really don't consider him a "MAC receiver". He was a druggie thug that found a backdoor into Division 1-A.

Freddie's not just someone that's putting up a big number in one category, either. He's first in catches by a mile, a close second in yards and tops in TD's. All-around stud this year. I hope he gets his due.

Sorry, I had a typo there. Corrected it. It was sarcasm for H2O.
