That's completely true. Rice fell off this year and UH is going to be a force to reckon with for years to come, especially if their coach stays (which looks like he may be smart and stay for a while). There is so much talent in the city of Houston alone, in terms of HS FB. I'd love to see BG reach down here for a couple of guys every year, and what better way to do that than to play here? There are always guys that fall through the cracks until their senior seasons or have breakout years as seniors that don't get signed by a Texas or an A&M...BG should be looking there! Miami (Oh) came down here and got a RB from the school I teach at...GREAT GET! I'm thinking he'll be a good one.
BG recruits Florida, and it works for them. Texas could be the same way. I understand that $ could be an issue, but it could be worth it. You don't have to get 5 guys...get two or three a year and build with it. If you get a couple, others may follow.
