Lastly, this bowl is extremely well run. The players and coaches are exceptionally well treated. And fans who do make the trip are made to feel special. Tough situation but if I am the MAC, I don't want two bowls I want three. Or four.
I disagree you are putting quantity before quality. I would rather see the MAC Champion get the only guaranteed bowl tie in with the potential for the runner up to get an at large birth in out standing bowls, than send three or 4 teams bowls where they spend as much to be there as they earn by being there. I would also change the pay out so that only the schools that go, get the dough, they earned it they should keep it all, contrary to P.C belief not everyone is a winner.
