Where else would I keep updated on the latest BG athlete to get caught "holding someone else's pot?"

You should follow Outside The Lines and ESPN.com. They talk about Toledo athletics. I've learned so much about point shaving.

Point shaving.....that's so old and taken care of. I'm talking about things that keep happening over and over again...even now. Like the freshman hoops player that just got caught passing the dutchie.

The Blade is useful for keeping up on the number of "OK Corral" type shootings that go on near the UT campus....that's the difference between BG and Toledo. The BG cops have the time to worry about things like underage drinking or a small amount of pot. In Toledo the 25 or so cops that are left on the force are simply trying to stay alive amidst the overwhelming number of crackheads, tweaks and gunslingers.... :-)

Its interesting.... Scouts now has Temple #1 ... So i guess Toledo's BEST CLASS EVER was short lived...

Anyway the interesting thing about the Toledo Class is they have 4 JUCO Kids.... While usually talented academics is usually a problem so I think Toledo's class will hinge on those kids getting the grades to play if not the class could look much different

Mark my words...you will see a fair amount of these vaunted UT recruits become ineligible to play.

What's a fair amount? One, two, three, four, etc. I know one that might not be eligible at the start of his career is a guy that this thread is about and we all know that means he had an offer from BG and was pursued by your own football coaches.

Someone mentioned JUCO recruits. Does BG not take chances on JUCO recruits? For instance, was Willie Geter not a JUCO?

As for the premature stuff.........who was premature? I just looked at Toledo is two spots ahead of Temple in the national rankings. Of course Temple took a bunch of prep players, so both Toledo and Temple will lose half their class to academics, right? ;-)

To my knowledge Willie was and IS not a JUCO....he came here as a Freshman, played over past couple of years, and still has eligiblity left.

By the way, it's good to see that Brian gets under everyone's skin so much. It really shows all the Toledo envy you guys have.
