I love The Ark!! Saw an Irish rock band there twice! Great place!

Sorry to go off topic!! Metz, thanks for your suggestions. May go with one of those. And TG...you're no help, as usual...

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I've been to a couple of great Indian restaurants in AA too... Raja Rani (http://www.rajarani-restaurant.com) and Shalimar (http://www.shalimarrestaurant.com)

Not to be confused with the 80's band, Shalamar....

However, I hear the food there will have you dancing in the sheets. And not necessarily in a good way.

And FF... I do what I can. Sounds like my folks are planning on parking at the high school and tailgating in a modest fashion.

Some of my Ann Arbor recommendations:

• Zingerman's Roadhouse or Deli - Amazing food brought to you by super nice people. The prices are a little high, but completely worth it. Can't go wrong!
• Grizzly Peak - Decent beer (IMO) but really good food.
• Corner Brewery - My favorite local brewery. Excellent beer, excellent food, and excellent atmosphere. It's over in Ypsilanti.
• Cafe Habana - Fantastic Cuban food. I highly recommend the Ropa Vieja and their mojitos.
• Blimpy Burger - Greasy burgers featured on the Food Network, Travel Channel, and other places. Just be sure to order your food correctly, or you'll get scolded. ;-)
• Sidetrack - Here's another one in Ypsi that's worth checking out. They've been named one of the best burgers in America and featured on a few TV shows.
• Taste of India Suvai - A new Indian restaurant on State St. They have a really good (and inexpensive) lunch buffet that, IMO, is as good as some of the sit-down Indian restaurants in town.
• Ashley's - A great place to go for a beer or six. Possibly the best selection in town (I believe over 100 now). If you go, go early. The place gets packed.
• Conor O'Neill's - An Irish pub on Main St. Good food, good beer!
• Wise Guys - A tiny place on Packard owned by a couple of students. They do excellent Chicago style hot dogs and a mean Italian Beef sandwich!

If you want any other suggestions, just let me know!

I second and third Zingerman's Deli, while waiting in line to place your order you can sample anything in the store except for their most expensive caviars and balsamic vinegars.

Another place that the wife and I enjoy for lunch specials is the Afternoon Delight cafe.
