Boy, the fog really was bad. No one else in the entire stadium saw that. ;-)

Mark..Sheehan and Barnes and that whole group scored 30 points a game as sophomores. Youth is no excuse. Brandon's teams could score 30 points every game no matter what the 2 deep depth chart read. (they could also give up 30 a game with his defenses)

We gave great effort against Michigan and Kent State? Really, I could have swore that we laid down in both of those games.

Difference of opinion, I guess. I thought they played hard, just not well, in both of those games.

How about as freshmen, though? Brandon mentioned youth so many times in 2006 ... and correctly. In 2006, we scored all of 3 on Kent State, and we lost to Temple. It was a very down year. We are rebuilding and reloading right now, just like in 2006. There's a thread I started here somewhere on the football forum about a trip down memory lane which talks about this. Basically, I talked about how bad 2006 was and compared it to 2010, but how much fun 2007 was and said I expect 2011 to be like 2007. And I still stand by that. I do believe 2011 will be a great year.

And FWIW ... at the 2007 signing day event, Brandon said some words I will never forget. "Youth is no longer an excuse. It is time to win." The same holds true in 2011 under Clawson. Next year, it's again time to fear the bird!

Agree with this. We knew this year would be a challenge. We will be a better team in 2011.
