GermainE-
You became the "abrasive one" when you started posting and immitating Bowling Green fans by posting on here under your alias instead of Touchdown Rrrrrockets. Its too bad we don't have a Georgia Tech Swagger to scare you away, but thats because us BG fans don't flip out and go crazy. We'll humor you and play your little game of posting as GermainE.
As far as Brandon heading to Florida as an OC, besides the other mentioned reasons for it NOT happening I will throw this out-
I don't think that after Urban left that Urban and Gregg stayed the best of buds. I think, and this is my opinion based on observances of Brandon on several occassions regarding Urban, that there was some friction between the two and I don't think Brandon would want to play second fiddle to Meyer.

i beleive it is Sun Dial But i nver went over to the HArshman Quad because I had no reason to. I lived in MAC and on N. Enterprise. So living in MAC I went to the eatery with the cows ont he wall, Where the football team would have its dinners. I would always get mozzie sticks. Those were the bomb. I went to the Sun Dial a few times because it was the best. My senior year I found out there was this like boat themed place under one dorm that I had never seen before so I went there a couple times, mostly to grab gatorades when I would play basketball over there because I had a food scholarship. Pollyeyes is the best food ever by the way. Bar wise i went to Junction until it got too chachi or I just got too old, then went to Bresters and Brathaus or Ziggys. Went to Kamies before it got too hip hopped up as well. Went to Marks as a frehman before it was WG grinders. They were the best at Marks. Would just take your beer if they saw you were under 21. Didnt even kick you out. Atleast thats what I heard. (wink)
If this helps I am the poster that said incorrectly that Sahm would be in an NFL camp but said correctly that McLeod would not achieve early NBA success and his best bet was to go to Europe first and the NBDL. Which he bypassed. Go Keith.

I believe the Sun Dial is actually part of Kreischer. Back when I lived in Harshman, the fast-food place in the basement was called the Galley. The had a whole pirate theme going on or something. Strange. I'm sure it's probably not the Galley anymore though. Is it
Anyways, what is this thread about? I forget.

I have no proof one way or the other, but I have no reason to believe you are a Toledo Rockets fan, or the supposed TouchDown Rockets, or whatever. For that matter, I couldn't care less if you were.Germainefitch1 wrote:hammbbb. You and I had convos alot actually when Iw ould say that BG probably wasnt squeaky clean (like OSU) when ti came to paying players based simply off the logic that I doubted if one team wasnt clean anyteam could be.I think my name was Germain fitch then or Guru
I termed you the abrasive one solely because of the all caps section of your one post, that is seen as being abrasive. Other than that, I was actually agreeing with you on some things
Seriously if you can talk civilly in here, I have no problems with ya. Hell 99% of what I say goes over in here about as well as Bill Clinton at the Republican National Convention, so my support probably doesn't help ya much
Good luck coming up with some proof to legitimize yourself. Either that, or do what I would do, and just shrug it off. You're more than welcome to post here, if you do so in a civil manner and back up your thoughts with reasoning. I, for one, don't care whether you're a rocket fan or what, although again I'm not representative of the entire group.
FWIW, I enjoy having anyone here who can start or add to a conversation and/or debate in an intelligent manner. We've had (and have) many posters here that are fans of other schools. I love it! It adds a different perspective and, IMHO, adds to the richness of this board.
As for BG fans, being a BG fan doesn't necessarily mean being a blind loyalist. There are plenty of Falcons supporters here who regularly take a negative view on what's going on. Again, that just helps make this board a much more vibrant community.
