Wow..birdman just used two complete sentences...granted one of the verbs he used was a symbol, but that demonstrates a skill level at least equal to that of Koko the gorilla. Congrats!!

You owe Koko an apology. Saying birdman has a skill level to that of Koko because he used two complete sentences one time. It was only ONE TIME. Koko has done that a number of times.

How did we not really hear much about recruiting this kid before? Seems like he pretty much had half a dozen BCS offers, or at least serious looks. Also looks like he comes from a pretty athletic family, with his brother playing football at Tennessee. I think this guy is a really big commit for us whether he ends up playing QB, WR, RB or wherever Clawson decides is best for him.

Stokes was a contestant on a TV show called "The Ride". I saw it on G4 or something. MTV2 bought the concept and showed the 2nd season, but he was on the original run (which was won by Dartmouth QB Cole Marcoux).
For one reason or another I can't find the episodes online. But the talent evaluators basically said he's a fine athlete, but not necessarily a QB in D1.
He went to a prep school for a year trying to establish himself as a QB (I assume), so we'll see how that goes.
Was originally on Tennessee's radar in 2009, so could be the Clawson connection going on there to bring him into BG. Because he seems to be an elite athlete.
