"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

In retrospect I wish I had given them 4 tickets...
I had the BEST last night! I took the two free tickets that I received with my basketball season tickets just in case someone could use them (someone was already using my other two regular season tickets), and someone walked by and asked if we had any "extras" while we were tailgating. To make a long story short, I sold the "free" tickets for $5 each, which was the highlight of my night other than the first play of the game!

I'll be back next week for the Ohio game. I am a Bowling Green football fan no matter what....and that was painful to watch Tuesday night.hammb wrote:You're either a much better fan than I am or certifiably insane to stay for the end of that train wreck.factman wrote:I stayed for the ENTIRE BG game and still saw the last 10 min of the WMU-UT game when I got home.

I've seen some of the most painful games ever - the 51-7 drubbing in the Cal Bowl, breaking Temple's losing streak, the GMAC Bowl beating to name a few ... and Noah & I stayed through to the final whistle in each case.Falconfreak90 wrote:I am a Bowling Green football fan no matter what....and that was painful to watch Tuesday night.
While those games were painful to sit through, I still love BG football!

As a long time child welfare worker I have to ponder whether that meets the definition of child abuse. I guess it hinges on whether force was used to ensure Noah stuck around... My kids forced me to abandon the UT -Pitt game when we beat them in the GB. That was pretty close to elder abuse....

Not much coercion used. It helps to be married to a psychologist, who can provide immediate therapy for the emotional damage.h2oville rocket wrote:As a long time child welfare worker I have to ponder whether that meets the definition of child abuse.
