From the article, it appeared that he might've had a fairly good chance of making the team as a kick returner... too bad this had to happen before he had a chance to make a full impression.

That sucks....hopefully he'll recover and be able to give it a shot next year

Someone on our board posted that he has six months minimum rehab but that several teams have contacted him about tryouts when he is recovered. could have happened at UT just as easily I suppose (well, it DID happen at UT, I think, but I mean if he played this season).

Call me a tad sceptical that several teams would be contacting an UDFA that was cut because of a torn ACL for tryouts six months from now. But that's just me ;)
