I speculate Moore stays due to Clawson's inability to win until the 5th year - 1 year after his eligibility runs out. Meanwhile potential runs at the MAC title the next 2-3 years in a conference that produced an overall #1 draft pick just last year make it a no brainer.
Just speculation since I wouldn't recognize Moore without his name on the back of his jersey either.

Wow..you're gonna forgive me? It's a Festivus Miracle!
People were talking about Elko and Ruggiero because they're coaches ....coaches often leave with the guy they're working under. In fact, Dave Clawson came right out and said he wants to hire them as soon as he got to Wake Forest. Ronnie Moore is a player...players don't usually leave with their coach. For you to single him out as a guy who might leave is baseless speculation on your part...and yes that's how rumors often start and you have no business pounding your gums on the topic when you don't have any real insight. If I was Ronnie Moore and I read that, Id be pissed.
Why not just say something like " we had a number of true freshmen play...I suppose they night transfer as sitting out a year won't cost them any eligibility" instead, you made reference to a specific player's "status " like there's already some talk of him leaving....

I am saying players have a right to transfer and one reason for someone to transfer is the coach they came for left. Often players don't transfer because they already burned their redshirt year. He has notkdog27 wrote:You're basically telling everyone Moore is too good of an athlete for BG.

No! Please. Limit this topic. There's no info or logic here.

There isn't anything concrete. There was also nothing concrete before coach Elko left. What we have is a scenario where people sometimes transfer. Because of Moores incredible ability I would make it a priority to keep him here if I were the next coach. He will have plenty of suitorsRedwingtom wrote:Okay, let's back up. 2. You will return a fleet of RBs
3. Your WR group should be great to amazing depending on Moore's status
4. You are losing your top TE's
5. Your losing the interior strength of your OL
1. The defense loses alot but returns Lynch and Martin Both Studs.
2. Three other starters will be back

I see your point. But we didn't have anyone make the impact Moore did.Flipper wrote:Wow..you're gonna forgive me? It's a Festivus Miracle!

Fred Coppet, Isaiah Gourdine, William Houston...just to name a few who were freshman and did have an impact.Globetrotter wrote:I see your point. But we didn't have anyone make the impact Moore did.Flipper wrote:Wow..you're gonna forgive me? It's a Festivus Miracle!

We have a different viewpoint on this one. No big deal. I'll just say Ronnie Moore is an incredible player and I hope I get to see him play here for many more years

I am sure whomever our new coach will be, will already have a grasp on what he has to work with. Maybe we should have John Wagner, Jack Carle, or the BGSU SID inform our new coach of this post and what he has to work with. Posts like this are ridiculous and really uncalled for.

Sorry Flip, I only read the first post and it alone irritated me. You are correct Kumbayah does count.
