OU just seemed to fold in last 10 min. or so... Templeton threw THREE picks that put them into a final hole they couldn't overcome... Their run game didn't look solid either... the Oklahoma boys sure didn't impress today.

It was mind boggling to watch the clock management clinic that Frank Solich put on the last 5 minutes before Tettleton threw his last pick. Dude just gave up. Someone needs to explain to Frank that he can't drink on the sidelines during the game. It leads to clock management blunders like we saw yesterday. That or Frank just gave up so he could go hit the bars close to South Florida's campus.......

Never liked the MAC's chances in either of these first two games. Never believed in Buffalo and OU is now known for folding it up towards seasons end. At best I thought the league would go 3-2 in bowls, with those two being the ones that lost

I actually had OU winning. Dumb pick. They had a similar collapse last year but won their bowl game in a blowout. Had won two straight bowl games. Yeah that might go down as my dumbest MAC pick'em this year.

BG win over Pitt would be huge win for our program. In the wake of being stiffed by DC, beating the Panthers, who beat ND, under an interim coach would say a lot about the leadership still in place.

Honestly, I could give a crap about MAC "pride" and all that.

There is only ONE MAC school that I'll be rooting for to win its bowl game and want it to win more than anything -- and if the rest of the league lays a great big egg, so what? If BG wins its game, I'm golden.

How did we get "stiffed?" Clawson gave us five great years and left for a great opportunity for him and his family. He hasn't been gone two weeks and you want to rewrite history already.

+1
Agree Rollo.
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

He said DC which stands for Defensive Coordinator. Had he used HC, then he would have meant Dave Clawson.

zete's kind of like eeyore...he doesn't have a very positive outlook about BGSU.
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Maybe he meant GC. We sure got "stiffed" by him, in an entirely different way!

My view: Every time our conference loses in nonconference play, it cheapens our championship slightly.

This was my post and for the most part I find it positive. Contrary to what others think, I believe Clawson became somewhat of a tragic figure the last few weeks...a good guy whose foremost hamartia was his greed AND mainly a system firmly in place preventing him from leading his team onto Ford Field.

Faulting him for moving on is silly. If someone came into my office and offered me a new job for more than double than what I currently make I'd be out the door in a flash. There was nothing left for him to do at BG other than win a bowl game and his staff is still sticking around for that.
