I also never saw the "LT" until someone on here mentioned it a long time ago. And I agree with you, I had always thought it looked like a Falcon!! AND I still love that logo!!! :supz:
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

New logo is far too commercial. Tradition should not be messed with. Original emblem/logo was far superior.
Sooner or later its the SOONERS!!

I certainly hope you are not referring to the "LT" as our original logo/emblem.....

He's clearly referring to this one:

Or wait, maybe it was this one:

The great thing about logos and re branding is the retro business. Old logos don't really go away, in fact I own Cleveland Indians merchandise with 5 different logos on them. My Cavs hat of choice features their 1970s logo. I own BGSU merchandise with the current falcon head, the previous "athletic" Falcon head (thick LT), the classic LT Falcon head and the Falcon shown above on that Homage shirt.

That is one of the BEST basketball teams in Falcon basketball history. How many players can you name without looking them up? I'm at 15 of the 20. :-k
We used ALL of our scholarships back then! ;-)

With "BSU" on the jerseys, I thought that might be an old photo of a Ball State team. I kid, of course.

I bet it was tough to get minutes on the court with that many guys in uniform. Especially if you were a post player not wearing the #42 jersey!
