I mentioned that WMU was listing ND "perhaps this year". Thought I'd read it somewhere some time ago. Not sure what thread you're referring to.

Ok, thanks for the reminder on the thread... I DID read this, but somewhere I recall seeing something about WMU and ND.
But very fact that MSU is going to K ZOO is huge. Could you see a certain school in our state doing such a thing? Hell. They even played "at Cincy" , but at Paul Brown stadium, not Nippert.

Cincinnati and Ohio State could develop a wonderful in state rivalry. Both schools have great facilities and the Bearcat program is moving in the right direction. It angers me OSU keeps them at arms length. I know I know the Bucks blew then out of the water this past season, but more should and could be done between the two schools.
WMU did play at ND a few years back.

Bowling Green is 4-0 against Cincinnati. In football, in the 1990s, we were peers.
UC basically used a good basketball program to bootstrap their way into the American Athletic. I don't like it, and I doubt I ever will. I definitely do not want them to build a rivalry with Ohio State. I'd like to see Falcon football catch up to Cincinnati again (and, in truth, I don't think we are that far off). Last thing we need is any more distance.

I was surprised Cincinnati beat Toledo as easily as they did. Gunner Kiel made the Rockets d backs look pathetic.
I really thought, based on what I saw in the Toledo game, they would give OSU a run.

Kiel was banged up for much of the season. What you saw of him in week one could have been his whole season were it not for injuries.

Re: Future Schedules…BGSU.com
Going back to future schedules for a second, looking at the FBSchedules.com page for BG it appears our second game at Indiana has gone away. Pretty sure that was a 2-for-1 with the second game at IU being in 2017

It sure would be nice if BG would put the link back on our website again. Then we could refer to it as opposed to seeing what other sites have listed. We had a link for future schedules on our site for years.
GO BG!!!

Quick clarification, the used their basketball program and Huggins to get into the Big East. The AAC is basically CUSA's brother who just moved out of mom's basement.Schadenfreude wrote:Bowling Green is 4-0 against Cincinnati. In football, in the 1990s, we were peers.

I don't think UC is any better than the top half the MAC in football. Toledo beat them in 2013 and Miami has gave them all they wanted in 2013 and 2014. They have a home and home with OU coming up. If they were to play at one of the top 3 or 4 MAC programs they would probably be underdogs.
Once you get outside of the top 30-40 programs, I don't think there is a ton separating the remaining schools. BG and Indiana proved it this past year. I think BG will prove it against, Memphis, Maryland, and Purdue this year. They may lose all 3, but, I don't think watching the games anyone will say, wow. Those guys are just way better.

FWIW, I keyed in BGSU future football schedules and they show the Indy game in '17.... So someone is not right.

Re: Future Schedules…BGSU.com
iuhoosiers.com does not show them playing BG in any of their future schedules going out to 2019-2020
All is for the best in this best of all possible worlds.
Re: Future Schedules…BGSU.com
It doesn't look like IU lists any non-conference games in those future schedules, though.bgbill wrote:iuhoosiers.com does not show them playing BG in any of their future schedules going out to 2019-2020
