That's the same battle they face everywhere but the top of D1. If you're good...a bigger program awaits. If you fail...you might last four years.
The days of Doyt Perry coaching for years here are done. If UT wins, Candle will leave in a couple of years...maybe three. If they lose...he might last until the final year of his contract.

There is risk with any hire. I like the hire, it's another coach players will be excited to come play for because of the style. Hiring strong assistants will be key.
