Cole Magner = my all time favorite Falcon footballer.
I never saw anyone compete harder or get more out of the physical talent he was given. Anyone who followed those teams closely had to be a Cole Magner fan.

Think he had 11 catches, 190 yards, and 2 TD against Fresno in the bowl game. He was fun to watch. Didn't have the speed but could block, bust tackles and definitely catch the ball.
He abused future NFL DB Marquez Pope so badly that day that he married his moms afterward and made Pope call him Daddy for a few years
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

I know you've said you were gone for awhile last year, but several guys you mentioned are either no longer on the team (Zimmerman / Valdez ), or never came at all (TE recruit-Koontz) But got to say I admire some of you guys and your ability to recall players - or game details - the way you do. I'm known as a BG "junkie" by my friends, but would never claim to recall all those details. ( could it be the 1961 class year that does this)?
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)
Small note of explanation as I understand it. How I understand it is some very good coaches from Texas Tech came up to a new program and didn't know they didn't have the speed to run the air raid type of offense until after a couple of games. The adjustment from Power 5 to MAC took place and in my opinion they just thought that the level was that much of a drop. They're only problem was believing in the guys they had--and that to me is not a problem.
Most importantly, they have rectified the problem. 1) They altered the offense into more a time clock control offense so the defense had less pressure on them. 2) Most importantly, they're recruiting is off the charts. Give them 4 years of being in the top 3 of MAC recruiting and we will see this team in the Cotton Bowl instead of Western Michigan.
Guys, we know they pulled in the #2 recruiting class in the MAC in for the 2017 class. Watch the highlights of the guys they have so far in 2018. Literally, google their names and write the word highlights or hudl after it and it will pop up. I don't know how it compares to classes 10 years ago but these guys are salty.
