I mean, yeah. The team is 60% (!!!!!) freshman eligible with an even younger defense than last year. This isn’t going to be a surprise year. The only thing I’m disappointed with so far is McDonald’s play after how much he was talked up.

UT's defense is swarming. Far more disciplined than last year.
Our offense ... score says it all.

Too many freshmen playing to be successful.

We should be playing a promising freshman at quarterback that will be with us for another three years.

Season isn’t about wins this year unless you’re the head coach fighting for your job.

So we are using the Jinks excuses regarding youth when the eyeballs show a hot mess. Regarding the Toledo defense, could have hired that DC or McElwain.

Youth ... that aren't in prison. And aren't dropping the team at alarming rates. This is 2010, not 2018. And remember, the 2011 team was also around half freshmen. When you take over a dumpster fire, it takes a while to see progress.

Loy and Doege might both still be here if McDonald wasn’t!

I can't get a good judgment yet on McDonald. Between the offensive line not holding him up and receivers not getting separation, it is hard determining how much of the passing game woes are on him.

But defense has been remarkably improved in recent drives. Offense not taking advantage.

McDonald is here because Doege left ...

All things considered, I’m pretty happy with the improvements on defense so far. Points are mostly due to an anemic offense. Tackling is definitely better, and I really like Johnson-Mack’s ability as a defender.

Special teams, offense and defense each responsible for 1 TU TD each. 21-0 at half looks pretty good after that 1st quarter disaster.
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.

Defense responded in the second quarter. It’s a shame the offense hasn’t returned any favors.

Melton is injured, not even dressed.
It’s not my point of view, it’s a fact.

I dunno if McDonald isn't comfortable or what but tonight he doesn't look like a QB who should be playing D1 football.

Todd Walker sounds like he’s in full depression mode
