beating Kent would be huge. They are very tough. From what I have seen of them, I feel we will be able to throw with success.

I honestly only expected to win two games this year. Everything is gravy for me at this point.

Many of these I wouldn’t necessarily consider a letdown.

When we beat a Power 5 school, many times we will face much tougher opponents in MAC play. The Maryland, Purdue and Minnesota’s of the world often don’t have the offensive firepower MAC schools do. Sometimes we catch them at the right time when they are breaking in a new quarterback.

I guarantee that the spread offense of Kent State will gives us much more problems than a plodding Minnesota team did.

So it’s not so much a let down as it we are playing a tougher opponent in many respects.
