This is funny, because Chris never got his game together on the field.

He will always & forever be known as Turnoverasaurus Rix...which could go down as the best negative nickname ever.

I saw Omar yesterday in the Union wearing a boot on his foot. It is because of a broken toe he suffered during the season, I believe in the Toledo game. It is not serious, and no surgery was/will be required (to my knowledge).

And as with Scott's broken foot last year in Spring Ball, it is better to get the injuries/recoveries out of the way now, rather than in the fall!

Also, for those interested in up and coming NFL stars from BG, Keon Newson has been training with an agent in Cincinnati, but had to have surgery last week on his knee for an injury that plagued him all season. From my understanding, it was not a serious injury (cartilage maybe), and that the surgery went as planned. Hope to see him given a chance at the next level despite his smaller size.

And the Cleveland Plain Squeeler reported over the weekend that Cole Magner was working with a trainer in the Cleveland area.

Of course this was in Roger Brown's "column" so take it FWIW!
