Love this

I appreciated the respect for BG Harbaugh included in his press conference today.

My bold, likely wrong, prediction is that BG comes out hot and scores 10 or so points in the first quarter, enough to make people in the stands uneasy, but then ends up getting shut down the rest of the way. I'll go with something like 49-13.
Kinda like the Oregon game a few years back. We went to Eugene to visit Mrs. Freak's Brother and family, who live there, and well look at that. BG opened that season at Oregon. BG jumped out fast 10-0 and ended up losing 58-24. Scotty Miller terrorized the Ducks secondary all day and made quite an impression with the OR fans.

Michigan is using two head coaches this game so I'm curious how that will look for them in both halves. It will have no impact on the game but I wonder if that changes their second half strategy

Overwhelming mismatches like this can show something about a team's character. I want to see if we fold and stop putting out the effort when we are down big or if we keep playing with the same effort that we put out on the first series.

As for more specifics, we saw in the Liberty game that Bazelak wildly inaccurate when he was pressured and then last week it was night and day difference when he was well protected. I want to see if our line can give him enough time to at least have a chance to get off some accurate passes and if he can deliver some balls when he's under duress. I'd like to see the special teams show some improvement this week.

My concern is the health of the interior linemen on both sides of the ball and at QB. Michigan is big and physical on both sides of the ball...I think they're going to look to establish the run as they've not been as effective on the ground this year...can our DL and LB take 60 minutes of being beaten on? On defense they can really get after the QB. We have two experienced QB's on the roster...it would be a huge issue to go into MAC play with only one

If we cover the +40.5, I will live with it.

The only way BG can prevent the defense from getting mauled is to keep the ball on offense. I suspect we'll see a run-heavy game plan given the depth of the RB position and hoping it translates into a few first downs every possession. Try and burn clock, keep the game close as long as possible and see if you can take a shot or two if the opportunity presents itself.

Fully expect UM to try and get Corum & Edwards going ahead of B1G play and given the lack of size in the BG front seven, it'll probably be a long day for the guys up front. Load the box and hope for the best.

I am interested to see if we look competent. JJ McCarthy can extend the play and spin it downfield. BG almost always presses or crowds the line of scrimmage. Works fairly decent against MAC QBs who live off the 5 yd slant and bubble screens. Teams that push it downfield a couple times have big success because BG backs off and then they get gutted everywhere.

Michigan usually doesn’t have much interest in running up the score and Loeffler being an alum almost assures they’ll completely back off in the 2nd half.
I just want to see if BG looks prepared and can show some positive moments. I still am firmly in the “Loeffler stinks” camp, but I’d like to see if this team is going to actually do anything this year or continue to underperform.

Add to that...I hope we don't start getting a lot of those unsportsmanlike conduct penalties (looking at you Ferguson) that accumulate when we're getting beaten

Where can I stream this?

I think I saw BTN. Is there a good way to get BTN just for a day?

BTN+ is available but there isn't a day pass feature. Directv has a streaming app if you know someone who uses it and has BTN as part of their subscription package. Or, you can always try and find a free stream online somewhere at your own risk.

Or you can do a free trial with one of the streaming services like Sling...Hulutv..etc that carries BTN. That's how I watched last week's game..just make sure to cancel it b4 they charge you or it was cost you 75-80 bucks for it

Great Ideas. I already did Fubo twice and was running out of emails but I didn't think about the other options.

I work at OSU and I think students get BTN+ for free. Im not sure though

Actually we are not that undersized if you look at the roster.

Youtube tv has the big 10 network also and does free trials. If you have two emails you can honestly make it through most of the season for free

With the new clock rules we should be able to cover as long as we avoid too many big plays

It's not just a question of size..it's an issue of depth and strength and conditioning. Michigan has better facilities and more resources to devvelop talent. It's just the way it is
