2023 Bowl Projections

My preference at this point is the Potato Bowl. It's on December 23 in the middle of the afternoon. The others are either in the middle of the week during the day (Famous Toastery), or not even on TV (Arizona). So... here's to landing in Boise.

I get that, but selfishly, I'd rather have Famous Toastery or Myrtle Beach (not currently projected there by anyone but still a possibility) because I could go to either.

Brett McMurphy updated his bowl projections this morning with BG facing Rice in the Frist Responder Bowl. Brett is usually pretty dialed in on the week of bowl assignments, so I'd take this with more than a grain of salt. He had posted yesterday on X that there was a lot of team trading going on behind the scenes with the bowls to try and get good matchups.

BG has never faced Rice in football.

Brett McMurphy updated his projections that have BG back in Detroit to face Minnesota. Gophers are the only sub-.500 team that will be bowl eligible.
