Arkansas State dinks and dunks their way down the field with little resistance (no pass rush, missing tackles) and then finally a red zone sack forces them to kick a 46-yard FG, which they drill.

Defense gets a stop, Trent Simms runs his mouth and then get flagged for taunting and gives them a first down. A few plays later, a facemask gives them another first down. Then they get a touchdown. Defense should've been off the field, instead it's 7 on their heads. 17-7 them.

Exactly what I was thinking, too.

Every year of the SL tenure has been marked by this same undisciplined behavior that results in far too many penalties, especially the unsportsmanlike type. This program will never get much beyond .500 as long as he is the head coach -- but BG apparently doesn't mind mediocrity.
