And that answer would have to be yes because there is everything to gain and nothing to lose. We are not afraid of their ability, but rather what a loss means to us should one happen.
I think the only thing we would be scared of is what it would do to our SOS even with a blowout win!

What kind of things do you think were posted on OSU message boards prior to the Marshall game?

The things that were posted on OSU boards prior to the Marshall game were probably the same things those arrogant pricks post before any game, no matter if they're playing Marshall, Michigan or the defending national champs. That is just par for the course, and pretty damn ironic too because you'll never see OSU blow out the teams their fans think they will. OSU could play the bottom feeders from the Sun Belt and probably still wouldn't beat them by more than 9.

This, though. This is like comparing apples to....well....really shriveled up, very weak apples shaped like Penguins.

Well Germaine, its a game that is a lot more fan-interactive at the collegiate level than any other sport -- including football. Not a knock on football, but I've never been nearly as engaged in a football game as in a hockey game at the Ice Arena.

And kdog, no one made me read anything. I'm just getting worried about the football crowd over hear. I mean, think about it. When people start debating whether or not we should be AFRAID OF YOUNGSTOWN STATE, there is a definite off-season syndrome floating around over here.

Just hold on guys -- and ignore the penguins!

Not for the last decade or so. And definitely not for the last year.

I miss my Sens...

Hey, for someone who used to call himself "Mowtown Falcon," at least you're not a dirty Redwings fan! :P

Must admit that I am a closet Bluejackets fan, but I always have to go with my Sens.

I must admit that I was not at all happy with the Lalime trade this past summer, though.

What the hell am I doing? I'm talking about hockey like they're still playing it!
