30-27?? I'll tell you what. If Bowling Green scores more than 20 points on the Oklahoma D I will kiss Jacob's a** on the 50 yd line at Doyt at high noon. Just name the date and I'll be there. Good grief guys, do y'all realize what you are in for this Saturday?

Yep! But the question really is do you realize what you are in for this Saturday?

Yes...I think we have good idea of what we are in for Saturday...But what kind of fans would we be if we just went around saying "There's no way in hell we even stand a chance on Saturday."? You always need to support your team no matter what! So with that said, I have no other choice than to say "Pucker Up Petey!" :)

P.S. I'm at 100! 2/3's of the way there!!!

You are going to ruin all of our Saturday's unless you take that back.

That's gross. Hell, it may even be an NCAA violation.

You can say that again! The only way you get out of Norman with a 3 point loss is if the 1st and 2nd teams don't make it to the game. No offense but you mid majors think way too highly of yourselves. Be happy with what you got but don't expect this game to be competitive at all unless you like to be disappointed.

Why don't you learn something about "we mid majors" before you run your mouth?

Well, looks like more idiots are coming on the board...
(cocky sooners or else those trying to make us look bad)

I've been telling everyone that Bowling Green will be a tough team, but noone will believe me. Last time I tried to tell all those idiots was when we played KSU. 35-7....Of course that was the most awkward game I have EVER seen. KSU ain't that good and OU wasn't that bad. Jason White still threw for 298 yards that night so we still moved the ball. LSU was really that good though. That game coulda gone to either side...darn LSU fans thought we stood no chance, but we easily coulda tied it or won it towards the end. Bad playcalling lost the game. The last 2 games of last year will reveal nothing of the OU of 04.

Anyways, I've seen BG in action and you guys will be a tough early test. Unfortunately/fortunately I have to agree 20 points will be VERY tough to get for BG. All the OU fans though i've seen are predicting us to get 50 easy. That is bull IMHO....if we get 30 I will be very proud of the Sooners.

In the end my prediction is 34-10...don't let it get your hopes down though.

I'll be rooting for BG the rest of the season.

I'll say the same thing I said before the Ohio State game last year - BG can move the ball on anybody. That's not going to be the problem.

The problem is going to be stopping Jason White. That's going to be a huge, huge problem.

My best guess is 41-17 Oklahoma. I hope I'm wrong. But I'm more than a little concerned about Omar making his first career start in Norman, and I'm just as worried about a defense that couldn't stop Northwestern in last year's Motor City Bowl.

BG runs the table after this one, though.

If this thread had said BGSU would win 10-7 I would never have bothered to post a reply. But 30 points? On the OU defense? Only 3 teams have scored 30 or more on a Stoops D and, excuse me, but I don't see BGSU being the fourth. LSU scored 2 TD's on the OU D (their 3rd TD was on a return of an interception). So, Bowling Green is going to score 10 more points on OU than LSU did? Please send me some of what you been smokin'. And yes, I do plan to move in the next 6 months (to Arkansas actually). But please understand, it is hard to be Humble when you are a Sooner!

What's to know? More often than not mid majors fold when they have to play decent BCS league teams. TCU would have been killed on their homefield if they didn't have the incredible good luck of crappy Northwestern missing FIVE field goals!!!!!! After we beat you down you'll probably look great against all the other weak teams you'll play.

Your crazy! KSU _was_ a very good team. We had major offensive weaknesses last year and they had the coaching and talent to expose it. LSU was very good too though we still could have tied that game and beat them in overtime if we had just kept RUNNING the ball!!! I'm tired of people talking like those same weaknesses will be back this year. We'll have a better running game to negate blitzing. The O line has more experience and tons of talent. We'll use the TE more. There will be new blocking schemes for the OL.

Thing is, BGSU is NOT K-state!!! They'll do well in their league and we'll roll right over them. Ohio State plays close, crappy games with everybody so I'm not looking at them. 30 points against us by them is freaking ridiculous!!! I'd be real suprised if the D lets up more than one TD. Our offense should be smoking also. With so many returning starters there won't be any slow start this year.

OU 56
BGSU 10

Cold hard truth my friends.
