I just always assumed when heading into the business world a degree from a prestigous school like Purdue would sound better than one from Bowling Green... is that in Kentucky? Keep up the 2.7 GPA's y'all.
Perhaps if you're going to Purdue for Engineering, since Purdue is usually ranked around the top 10 in the nation, then I can see going to Purdue being important. Purdue has very good business school, but from what I hear is that Purdue is not the most presitigous school even in the midwest. If you want a prestigious degree in business, then you need to go to Haaarvard, Stanford, Penn or MIT. The top midwestern schools are Northwestern, Chicago, Michigan and even OSU.

IMO, it doesn't really matter to much beyond the top-tier schools becasue after this point a college degree is usually looked upon as degree that hopefully means that you can think on your own, but not to much being that its a business degree and all.
