My uncle gets back from IRAQ 2 weeks before the game. we made plans along time ago to go. I have been there before my only knock on it is that you have to take taxi's to the stadium if i remember right. i dont think there is any hotels within like 5 miles of camp randall. i dont remember being much parking either unless you want to pay $30 for a spot.

its a fun atmosphere if you can take a lot of trash talking and a lot of people telling you to f**k off. they are very rude up there. but if you can take it and have fun with it and give them s**t back you will enjoy it.

we saw a tailgate party, kind fo a cheap imitation of hiney gate at OSU that played some pretty lame music like barry manilow at a football tailgate..but they did have free food and cheap beer so it made up for it.

i give it a solid B though for atmosphere. i enjoyed the teash talking

Maryellen and I also celebrate our 11th on September 10... have we discussed this coincidence before?? What time of day was your wedding? Could we have been saying "I do" at the same moment? Ooooooh.... scary..... :-)
Well G, we said "I Do" around 5 in the afternoon, outside on a beautiful day...sunny, 75 degrees.

Very scary....I'm scared.

Post by Falcon Fanatic »

Gotta chime in on the anniversary stuff. BGFan and I celebrated our 25th on April 19th!!! We are true Falcon Flames. We met through the WFAL campus radio station (He was taking requests and I was calling in) and we went up the Brathaus that night!! We were married 2 years later!!!

Falcons Flames Forever!!!! :supz: :partyman:

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

This pair of Falcon Flames in this house will celebrate #28 in December. We met in English class. Our first date was to the old Putt Putt course on South Main. And then off to every sporting event held on campus for the next 2 years! :supz:

those are nice falcon flame stories. However, my wife was my RA freshman year. Talk about dedication to the job  Our "first date" was the homecoming pep rall, followed by the homecoming game. I use parantheses because I hadn't ended my relationship with my girlfriend at the time. Oh well, all's well that ends well. We'll been hitched 5 years come August.

Was that song out in 1978???? Actually, I requested "Paradise By the Dashboard Lights" by Meat Loaf!! Mr friends made me call that song in. I had never heard it before and about died of embarrassment when I listened to it, especially when it was publically dedicated to me in Mac East!! I called back to clarify that situation and we all (BGFan, the DJ and my friends) ended up meeting and going up to the Brathaus, where BGFan accidently got stamped "high" (anyone remember what that means???). We stayed there instead of bar hopping!!! Weird story, but TRUE!!!
