I love watching those great bowl games....the 2004 GMAC Bowl, the 2003 Motor City Bowl and the 2004 Motor City Bowl. That 2004 Motor City Bowl was an epic struggle for the first two or three minutes...

Yeah... not really. The 04 MCB was a lot of things, but an epic struggle it was not(not even for 2 or 3 minutes). If I was given the choice between the Rockets winning the MCB, or beating BG and becoming MAC champs, I would choose the Rockets beating BG and becoming MAC champs anyday.

The thrill of winning the MCB is not as great as the thrill of holding the scoreboard over your flocks head for an entire year.

I guess they don't teach sarcasm at UT. Maybe he should transfer to Owens like the rest of Toledo. When did this troll climb back out from under a rock?

Good one, TJ. Actually, the boys REQUESTED to watch the videos and DVD. Who am I to say no??? To refuse would be child abuse!

Almost time to break into the 35+ games on tape collection to get me to opening day.
I hear ya man, the season can't get here fast enough.

I hope while watching your collection of games, you don't skip over Blackneys last game, and of course last years awesome comeback in the Glass bowl. Both are classics in my opinion.
:x :x :x :x

Funny you should mention those. I never watch the 2000 game. It was bad enough being there with the score and cold temps. And it was J5's first career start at QB. Talk about being thrown to the wolves.

It was so great to beat Gary Stinkel in his Missouri Debut after that 2000 game. Then we kicked his azz again in 2002, 51-28 at the Doyt.

I do watch the 2004 game...until halftime. I don't wanna live thru that again. I still can't stomach the fact that our D gave up FORTY TWO pts in one half...and our team blew a 20 pt lead. :vom:

You coming down for the game on 11/22? I'll keep a brat and couple of cold ones waiting.

94 days til kickoff....

Toledo's recent bowl game tapes are standard material in officiating clinics based on their textbook demonstrations of personal fouls and late hits.

Incoming NCAA refs owe the Rockets a debt of gratitude for their education.
