Its a party, all are invited. Heck, even *I'VE* been invited a couple times. Bringing beer is a plus, though. It can be used to barter for deep fried items, I hear.

All we really ask is that you bring something to share. Even that is semi-optional so long as you don't become a snakeman-esque mooch.

Bring a willingness to meet new people & get drunk, maybe a bag of chips or something, and you're more than welcome! The more the merrier, absolutely. We generally eat quite well with an assortment of strawberries & pineapple, fresh brats, and pretty much anything you can deep fry (which it turns out is pretty much anything).

hammb - You know me...always willing to meet new people. ;)

Thanks guys, I'll definately get over there to meet all of you. I may not be as early as a lot of you guys. I coach JV football, but I already have plans to make it to a lot of the games.

Being the selfish lout that I am, I voted for OU. :P

Grant: I have another mini fundraiser idea that I need to pitch past you. I'll be in contact about it after the Smith Family Vacation. 8)

Duck
I'd think you'd be more than welcome to the AZZ tent...we've even allowed Marshall people, for crying out loud, to join us! Seriously, it's a lot of fun and a good place for us since we can centralize a bit more than the usual spot(s). I voted for the OU game, but the TU game would make sense in terms of possible cold weather...just on a Tues. nite, would it reduce the numbers of out of towners going to the game? [and no, Mike, I don't intend to miss this one]

The UT game is on ESPN2 as well, so there's some potential "face time" for us on national TV!! ;-) Just something else to keep in mind.

There will be a LOT riding on that ut game, so I think the excitement and momentum of the season will make that a great game to tailgate/tent at!!!

It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I voted for Homecoming even though I won't be able to actually attend the pre-game activities in the tent.

OU is bad because of my daughter's birthday party. Had I known we would be having this debate I would have held off having unprotected relations with my wife until March!

Any other date would be okay - albeit cold. I bet my award winning* chili would taste AWFULLY good, however.

*It won first, second and third at a recent chili contest - and no, I'm not joking. Hence the name: Trifecta Chili.

That sounds like a challenge to me, Mr. Drum Major. I'll put my chili up against yours any day... It was quite the hit at LAST year's tent. Muahahaha... Pepperguy will RULE the AZZ chili war!!

How about an AZZ Chili Cookoff in the tent this year??? Mmmmmmmmm
