1987alum,
She was going to be a music major but decided against it. She researched Tourism majors. We visited and we really liked it.
We could all work on getting it closer to Pottstown or Collegeville!
Do you still live in the Pottstown area? I live right on Main Street in Collegeville, near the college.

So she can file the appropriate paperwork for the 500-foot radius? Yeah, you should probably get right on that.hammb wrote:Should I forward my contact info to you or directly to your daughter?
LOL
Welcome, Forbes! Hopefully the distance won't keep you from experiencing EVERYTHING BG Athletics have to offer. Though I don't think there are any football/hockey doubleheaders this year, there usually ends up being one or two dates where hockey and one or both of the basketball teams are at home the same day.

We never moved to the area, actually, as I only worked at the paper for 6 months! We used to live in New Holland (Lancaster County) before we moved to our current house, which is in Bucks County (right across the river from Trenton, NJ).Forbes wrote:1987alum,

Your daughter will probably be in for some adjustments as Wood County Ohio and Mongtomery County Pennsylvania are quite different, but I'll bet she finds it to her liking. I have nothing but fond memories of my time at BG and have visited the campus twice with my son (see my avatar!) and it's even more friendly that when I attended (oh so many years ago, right Schade?
We've tentatively scheduled our annual trip for Oct. 8 and can't wait to return!

These guys can all vouch for me...I'll have to find an ink pad for some finger prints. Would a blood sample be okay for DNA records? You could test it yourself that wayFalconfreak90 wrote:Forbes wrote:Hammb,

Welcome! We lived in Harleysville, Lansdale area from 1970 to 1976. Is the Collegeville Inn still operating? Possibly the largest buffet in the country!
We still have friends in Coopersburg and get to visit them occasionally.
We really miss the beautiful countryside and trips into Bucks county, etc.
