That's funny, the part about being BG maniacs. The sad thing is, this happens everywhere. It isn't the "cool" thing to do to go back to your alma mater and give back or support things. People have ridiculed me because I coach at my old high school. I think that's sad. It's the same as you said, they haven't been back since they walked that aisle. A place that gave them an education, supported things they wanted to do, and paved the way to get elsewhere in life is no longer good enough. I wish more alumni would take a look at what got them where they are and support it, whether it be college or high school.BGSU96 wrote:"I "hit' the Cleve. That sounds like the C-bus chapter too. I asked once about hitting a game as an alumni chapter and was informed that there isn't enough interest to take a bus to BG. If it doesn't involve wine or beer tasting or a cash bar then they aren't interested. What really cracked me up was who they thought Ed and I were BG Maniacs because we go to so many games at BG. Most of them haven't been back to campus since they graduated(how sad is that.)

He emailed me a couple days after the game and said how good BG looked. Of course! If you would pay attention to YOUR alma mater, you'd know. What a Richardhead.
I guess she may have had a point, being the guest of the coach, but still!!!
