I love chuck as much as the next guy and I'm not blaming him for the loss.
Sharon mailed it in in the third quarter. Unacceptable. I view him in a whole new light after this game. He's a great player but his body language and performance in the second half was atrocious. He was loafing and running before he caught the ball. I've never seen him play that way and I hope it was a complete aberration. But it was obvious he gave up in the third quarter, and his play reflected that.
But he didn;t lose us the game. It would have been much more interesting if he would have caught the bomb in the fourth, but it wouldn;t have been an issue if we could field a competent defense as opposed to a J.V. squad.

Again, I haven't watched it yet, listened to most on the radio. When Sharon dropped that pass, Gibby was all over him. Said that was at least his fourth dropped pass of the day and that is unacceptable. So maybe that one play wasn't the difference, but all those other drops result in Sharon having some culpability for this one.

he had a lot of drops to be sure. Physical mistakes are ok -- they happen. After watching the game on tape, it is easy to see he was hanging his head in the third. It's hard to argue that his attitude didn't contribute to the drops which may or may not have cost us something.
I was just disappointed to see a falcon player who is one of my favorites act that way in his senior year. I don't mean to be picking on chuck -- I hope he had the flu or something.

maybe his confidence is low b/c people wont stop riding him. all i know is 2 of the drops would have been tough catches. the third would have been for a loss anyway, and the 4th was the one that he defn should have made. he is still one of the best recievers in the nation and can come up with the circus catch. oh BTW HE WON US THE GAME AT PU. so lets be glad hes on our team and be confident that he wont drop too many more.... lets not forget even Tiger Woods makes double bogeys and Michael Schumacher wrecks, the kid is human!

nobody was riding him before the game and I don't think his confidence is low. I'm not upset about the drops, I'm upset about the alleged attitude that led to the drops. I can't see inside of chuck's head but from what I saw, it sure looked like he gave up when Wisky made their run in the third. It pissed me off at the time. Watch the tape and watch his body language. Again -- I'm hoping he had the flu or something along those lines.
I'm not saying this to get down on chuck more, I was just thinking about it -- but if he and the others had made two or 3 of those catches -- Omar would have been over 5 bills with 6 TD's
that would have been amazing.

Sharon hanging his head......
Might be a litte understandable when your putting points nearly left and right and you know you have no chance with this defense. How must Omar feel to put up 458 yards passing and 5 TD's and still LOSE!!! He must think , maybe I should gone to Florida St. and played saftey! Our defense doesn't resemble the same team as our offense. If your and BG offensive player , you got to be thinking , what else can I do.
