If you go back and look at the bottom 10 -15 teams in the top 25 from last year or any year, they all have some disappointing losses to either some not so good teams or they have been slaughtered or had bad days, etc. Top 10 teams do not, but the next 15 do. I mean Texas got man handled by Oklahoma on all fronts 2 years ago, but they still had a solid team. I don't think we truly know until we have more games. The season has only just began.

BG had a bad day on defense, and the world knows that had the Falcons had even a little success in stopping WI, they would have won in a blow-out, its that simple.

Are the Falcons that bad on defense? I don’t think so. There is reason to wonder and worry, but then other MAC teams have been blitzed on D and bounced back, the least of which (and in what way are they not the least of anything) that school in T town.

The defense must improve, but the outing against WI is so out of the ordinary that I have to right it off as a bad day. Anything else and I’d have to ask when they are going to fire somebody.
