Heisman love for Omar
What's wrong with that page?!?
Not only are his stats wrong, but it also says that we HOST Ball State on Sept. 10th. Where do they get these website editors???

Omar's Stats
On the espn website I believe they said Omar threw for 440 yds. and had 4 TD's. If I recall Omar threw 5 TD's and had 458 yds. passing. I don't know if they counted the pitch to P.J. Pope a pass or a pitch but the ESPN analyst did confirm that it was a pass.

Re: Omar's Stats
It was to BJ Lane, and that's the logical explanation we came up with for how the stats were off. Why they didn't go with every other stat sheet I've seen (including the bottom line on ESPN all day Saturday and Sunday) I don't know, but that's what makes sense.jerzyboy247 wrote:On the espn website I believe they said Omar threw for 440 yds. and had 4 TD's. I got my stats from ESPN.
ESPN originally did not count the shovel as a TD, but the official scorer at the game gave it to him.
