As someone who has put the hours into producing a website for a player with no shot whatsoever, I applaud the UT fans. I see no reason NOT to promote him for the heisman, it can do nothing but good for the university & football program. Sure, I think the graphic looks odd, but other than that kudos to them.

commercial
Only 1 of the 5 commercials talk about the bobblehead doll.Flipper wrote:Actually, those TV commercials promote the Bruce bobblehead. And well they should since the bobblehead has the stronger throwing arm.
That bruce4heisman site looks good. I'd probably get rid of the little face near the top and put something bigger of him up there but that's just me.
Either way, it sure makes the Omar4Heisman page look like an embarassment.

I have told you a million times that Metz should be taken at his word.1987alum wrote:Are you saying he's being hyberbolic? The content of the page doesn't flow into the background at all. The gray bar at the bottom doesn't fit anything. Really though, I don't mind the homepage, but from then on, everything looks bad. I've suggested using iframes but what would I know?Tricky_Falcon wrote:I think the graphics and everything on the jacobs site looks really good but the blog doesn't look attractive and it would be better if we had pictures of Omar in the picture gallary. The actual content on the front page looks cluttered.
My problem with the blog and message board is that they don't fit the layout of the rest of the site. I agree 100% with you on the image gallery as well. The stats table should be centered in the content space so the text has some breathing room on the left and right instead of just on the right. From the homepage, one should also be able to navigate to any site on the page so I find it odd that there are more links on the sub pages.
The whole email list and BGSU forums page I don't think is needed. It's a cluster-**** of weird graphics. If people want to know what's going on with the site, they will bookmark it and keep going back...not sign up for email lists. Like I said earlier though, what would I know?

Omar and Bruce - Slim and None
Gimme a break guys. Omar's chance went out the window when he signed on at BG. Same for Bruce. Who was the last MAC Heisman winner?
On a more important note:
I am issuing an Amber alert for Redwingtom. He was last seen leaving Carlos & Charley's with some tall dude.

Who was the last MAC quarterback to throw 41 touchdowns against 4 interceptions and 4,000 yards his sophomore year?LakelandRocket wrote:Gimme a break guys. Omar's chance went out the window when he signed on at BG. Same for Bruce. Who was the last MAC Heisman winner?
