We dont spend the money for recruiting trips, hours upon hours of watching and studying game film, spring drills, practice and scrimmages. and we certainly do no bleed or sweat for games that do not matter. Every game matters or you do NOT belong on the field.

If we do not care about winning, only improving then we might as well turn the plane around now and come back to Toledo or Detroit (I would assume they flew out to Boise and from Toledo airport)

Do I need to say anything else?
What I meant: This team wanted to beat Wisconsin..bad. The team felt embarassed on a national stage and will do everything in their power for this not to happen again.

I think we can all admit our pride was a little damaged after 9/3.

What if Wisconsin wins out and keeps all their opponents to under 21 points? How bad of a loss would that make it for us if it is our only one? Something to think about.....

There's a lot of negativity on this board. Yeah the defense isn't stellar but geez. Some people have given up already.
Yeah and we have lost one time, I could swear it was ten though. The mood around here is that we stand no chance against anyone good from here on out. I think Wisconsin is pretty damn good football team but I don't know if anyone else can see that.

Of course this game matters

This game means a lot because:

1-More fans across the nation will be watching it than watched the Wisconsin game. BG has a chance to impress these fans, improving its national reputation and that of the MAC. You can bet the TV commentators will say more than once that Boise St. has the longest home winning streak (25?) in Div. 1A football.

2-Lots of our recruiting prospects will be watching.

3-Lots of media representatives will be watching.

4-Lots of Bowl representatives will be watching.

4-Omar has a chance to enhance his national reputation with a stellar performance.

5-There may be lots of BG "regional" viewers who after seeing this game will decide to attend some games later this season at BG.

6-BG has a chance to convince more viewers that it could compete with some of the power conference programs.

These are among many reasons why I think this game is important.

They all matter. Trust me when I say that it matters as much as any game this year to Boise state. :D

Remember this game doesn't matter so I don't know why everyone is so mad.
