I must have mentioned this in a different thread. I was at the ticket office this morning and got seven tix. West was not available, but he offered me my choice of sections 12 or 18. I got row 28 I think and there is, what, 40 rows? Not tryign to be pessimisstic, but I think there will be seats avialable.

Yes, he will play. If you watched the Boise game, the ball he caught in the 4th quarter was bad. The DB popped him a good one and he fell badly on the shoulder. Without sufficient time to heal, he will most likely be hindered by it the rest of the season. I wanted him to take this game off with no contact for 10 or 11 days and then start preparing for Ohio and the MAC schedule. But Dad doesn't carry the same weight as when Corey was in High School.

I just hope he doesn't get another big hit on the shoulder this week. He said it was feeling pretty good. So we will see. We saw at Wisconsin what he can do when he is healthy. And I think that opens the offense more when we have a third option to go to when the big two get doubled.

No doubt! Corey has been impressive to say the least. We need him on the field! I love his toughness (does he get that from Dad? ) and style of play.

And I did watch every painful second of the Boise State game....and even taped it. What was I thinking?

I know this post started with attendance, but there is also some talk about Corey on here too. I loved what I saw out of this kid at Wisconsin! I'm really hoping he gets healthy and soon. We could sure use his sure hands and play-making ability out there this season, especially come MAC time. I'm glad he said he's feeling better, but I also would rather see him rest up for Ohio rather than risk betting banged up against Temple. Either way, get healthy soon Corey!

As for the attendance, it's awesome to hear that we have very few tickets left for the Temple game. I hope it's the same for next week's game against Ohio (which I believe is fall break so we'll really need people to turn out again) and for the rest of the season, home or away. The more BG fans at a Falcons' game....the better, no matter where it's played!

Apropos of not having fall break in the past is Moe's comment about bye weeks, "Bronco Nagurski didn't get no bye-weeks! And now he's dead! Well, maybe they're a good thing."

Fall break is the 10th and 11th, so that could put a damper on attendance on the 8th. I have the feeling not nearly as many kids go away from campus during fall break as , say, spring break, because it's basically only a long weekend, and those can be fun in town...

There are as many as 50 rows, I believe.

It's worth mentioning that some people have a preference on whether to be high or low. I'll be a few rows above you on the 50, and I asked for that. I can't imagine sitting in the chairbacks; it's way too low for me.
