Attendace is figured by counting everyone inside the gate, just not those in the seats.
19k sounds about right. Good sized crowd.
I also understand why people leave early, but I never like too. I enjoy the 'antics' that go on before and after the game (Pre-game, the AZZ Pit Mosh, Beer Barrel) as I do the actual game. Honestly theonly reason I flet early is because I had to be in Defiance by about 7:30. What I was able to watch kicked ass though!!

I left when it was 49 to 7. Daughter needed food and in a hurry. I left. By the time I got to my car it was 63 to 7.
It was a nice, loud crowd and very heavy in students - which was nice.

That's usually what we do as well...We only get 5-6 home games a year. Let everyone else sit in traffic.factman wrote:It is REAL easy to solve the traffic in leaving the Doyt. We fire up the grill and tailgate for about two hours after the game and watch the cars parade by, while we are having dinner and our favorite beverage.
I thought there were over 21,000 there but 19,500 is a solid crowd. Basically there were approx 4,000 seats available. That's about 80% capacity.
Pack that sucker for the 'Cats this week!
