I really like the BRICK idea. I had the brick thought while tailgating the other day. You could put bricks around the Sebo ala Jacobs Field/Gateway Complex.
or.
I had a wild idea of creating a brick facade going UP the supports of the stadium. The lower bricks would have the names on them and the rest would just go up the supports of the Doyt to give it a nice brick look instead of the concrete it currently is.
Someone mentioned students bursaring- you could have different size bricks- $50, $75, and $100. It doesn't matter how many you sell, a brick campaign makes money no matter what. And as someone said if I was a student the idea of leaving my mark on the stadium for an easily bursarable amount of $50 would be cool!
Swoop- as for the prices for the Sebo Center=
The lowest naming rights check in at $100k for the Coaches' offices, and meeting rooms.

yea, but how long would it have taken someone who DIDN'T know where to search for that info? Thats the point we're making, the University needs to make an obvious donation section, or provide a name and e-mail address without making people spend 20 minutes searching for it (or redesign the entire site, but thats a different issue
)

I went in to the athletic department website, saw the ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT link on the left and clicked there. Then saw the link to the ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT DIRECTORY which I clicked on. All of what - ten seconds?momtartin wrote:... or provide a name and e-mail address without making people spend 20 minutes searching for it

Sorry, didn't even attempt to do that. But I still think it would benefit the University to make a page about the Sebo Center, to explain to people what it is, etc, so that there is constant update about it online. If anything, it would probably help increase donations.transfer2BGSU wrote:I went in to the athletic department website, saw the ATHLETIC DEPARTMENT link on the left and clicked there. Imagine that, linked from the front page of bgsufalcons.com...
Granted, it hasn't been updated since June, but there are pictures, and explanations, and (gasp!) an email, address, phone number and website for more information! And has there really been much more news about it since June anyway?
