Hahahhaa... that's funny, because I can trace page-views just as easily. Who the heck has time to sit and "trace" visitors though?? 70,000 hits a day?!?!? Yeah... I'm gonna sit and watch who is coming from where?Tricky_Falcon wrote:I bet he doesn't respond. But I do know for a fact that he glances the messageboards to get an idea of what everyone is thinking. How often he comes to AZZ.com I am not 100% certain. But as a former intern at the MAC I might have been chewed out by one of the head guys (not the comish) for browsing this website. Main thing I was told was not to post because they didn't want people tracing it back to the MAC office.

The person you should email is in Connecticut, not Cleveland.
Chryst: I am very upset the BG-Miami game got preempted.
ESPN: we don't answer to you MAC Commish, we answer to the sponsors. Our data shows there is more national household interest in the preseason sisters of the poor game than the Miami BG game.
Chryst: yeah but...
ESPN: bye bye.
I think the better angle to take is with ESPN. Call them out on being the "Total Sports Leader" yet pre-empting a game that has conference title and bowl implications for a preseason game that does not amount to anything at the end of the day.

Dayons_Den - feel free to contact ESPN if you'd like. I just don't think that would accomplish anything.
I contacted Chryst since he is the one who signed the television contract with ESPN. He is the direct representative of the MAC who gets paid to address situations like this on the MAC's behalf and look out for the conference's interests. An analogy is a shareholder writing a letter to the CEO regarding an issue that affects the business.
