Yes it did. But imagine how funny it would look to have the falcon head facing backwardTG1996 wrote:On the "old" helmets, did the falcon head face front on both sides like it does now?
The new uniforms, now that you've seen them, how do you like
Not that this means anything at all, but it is interesting to note that all NFL logos except the Eagles face left to right. Go to NFL.com and check out the logos across the top. They all face to the right, except the Eagles. don't know if the same applies to college teams, but there seems to be some kind of rule that says the logo should face to  the right.

That's what I was thinking, but then I couldn't remember ever seeing a falcon head that didn't face to the right.dstubb wrote: Yes it did. But imagine how funny it would look to have the falcon head facing backward
Warthog - I think its just the general right-to-leftness of the way we look at things. Right seems to project "looking ahead". Maybe the Eagles logo is still looking back on all those playoff debacles wondering what happened??
I think regardless of how the logo faces on a printed page, they all face to the front on the helmets. It just struck me funny when I saw the falcon looking to the left is all.
We have new helmets? I could tell the difference.

I think a properly dark shade of brown would look almost like black. If you went with the metallic flake approach, it would remain dark, yet have flare to it.

Miami fans call us Pumpkin head wearing orange. I'm not going to go into what brown helmets would cause the UT fans to call us. But I rather like the look. Combine it with a brown home jersey, and it has a mean look.

What do helmets cost per player? Do they have to be fitted and bought for each player, or do some or all of them get handed down over time?

when we say brown we mean BROWN
ok i darkened the helmet... after thinking it would look dumb, i actually kind of like it. . . (i'll also toil with a white helmet and also add our new logos to some uniforms). ..

all bowling green
We could go with a sponsorship angle. Helmets by Coco-puffs, jerseys by Tropicana. I like the brown look though. The orange in a dark field looks sharp.
