Grant has had his reasons for taking action at times. If things between BG fans have been touchy then it our communities right to be so among our own. That is a fan community seeking a collective voice on an issue. Or a community seeking to discipline its own. But something else I see here that I don't see on other forums is a fairly high degree of humor, intelligent points, and informative discussion. If the UT forums are more civil, they are also much more boring than almost all the other forums in the MAC.

For Cripes sake!

First I made a comment about TG1996 being correct (that was sooooo long ago) and now I'm actually going to agree with a Rockette fan.

What is the world coming to?!?!?
You need to stop! this is the third time in two weeks I've been accused of being right by a Falcon fan! :D

Not sure about all the other forums but if you think we lack humor you're not reading MY posts!

Outside of Toledo, the terms "mentally-challenged" and "in-fighting" are not the same thing.
Now if that isn't an ignorant remark. Is that supposed to be a crack on Toledo? The city of the University? I hope not the city because there are a good amount of BG fans, like RWT, that live in Toledo.

That's just me bantering with you.

OTOH, my sister lives in Toledo. I do feel sorry for her.

There is a different dynamic on the Rockette board. Reason? They ban. I can think of only one or two people who have been banned on this board since its inception and none of them were BG fans.

The UT board doesn't eat their own but beats them into submission. If no compliance, then they ban.

The average UT fan is no more or less civil than the average BG fan. It's simply a matter of perception of the vocal majority.

The typical conversation on a UT board goes something like this

"Man, Bruce is awesome"

"Yeah, he really is...BG sucks because they water their field"

"Yeah, they suck"

That gets a little dull after 10 minutes or so...

Since I have been a moderator on the UT board, which goes back about 4 or 5 years, I can only remember 1 UT fan getting banned and that was not because of posts on the UT forum. It was because of posts on the main MAC forum where he was constantly bashing Marshall really bad. This particular poster hardly ever posted on the UT forum, so he may not have even been a UT fan to be honest. So, please tell me what you are talking about?

As opposed to the genius of the AZZ fans posting:

"Man, Omar is incredible"

"Yeah, he really is... UT sucks because , you know, they're UT"

"Yeah, they suck and they would water their field if they had real grass"

Please. :D

What happened to Rocket Wolverine?

He may not have been banned, but he was beaten into submission and finally left.

Yeah, he actually threatened some people and the police should have been involved but he was never banned. Certain people didn't take kindly to him threatening them and their family and they let him know about it. I haven't seen him post since. Maybe he decided to be a Wolverine fan.

We may have our dull moments, but at least we're accurate.
