After googling it said that he was the best QB in South Jersey
That doesn't necessarly mean great things. I don't think New Jersey is know for the football that I know of. How many top recruits that go to BCS schools come from that state anyway? I would guess maybe a handfull.
Penn State over the years has gotten a number of good players from Jersey. Quite a few BCS schools have been able to go into NJ and get quality players since there's only one D1 program in the state and the State University of New Jersey (Rutgers) hasn't exactly been a powerhouse.
Years ago, BG was able to go into Jersey and a get an undersized defensive end (falconboy wouldn't have liked that). Some guy named Villapiano.
Well , first off I think I misread a post about the kid saying what I thought was this Glaud kid was the top qb in the state , but actually it was he supposedly was the top qb in the region wherever that was. Having thought that I therefore came to the conclusion that if the supposed top qb in Jersy wasn't even rated at all that couldn't mean much for the state in general.
But anyway so NJ is a top ten recruiting state , thanks for the info. I just never heard NJ talked about much at all when recruiting states are rated.
Mario Tynes of last weekend is visiting Tulane this weekend as Abram Gordon will be in Morgantown. Decisions are expected shortly after they return to Georgia.
Another WR/S was added to our profile on Scout, but it looks like his finalists are Colorado and Western. He visited BG on 12/9 and has visited both Colorado and Western as well. Oh yeah, he's from Florida. 1st page, its too late to go back and look at the name and I can't read the articles, but on the profile he lists us as "no interest."
