He'll stay
I am in agreement with everyone here on saying that I hate the way he left, and I can still remember getting the call the day that he said he was leaving. I guess it didn't help that I had a few drinks after work, and really got mad that day. But we also have to remember that he turned us into a very respectable program, and thank god he was smart enough to bring in Brandon when he came in. Unless something drastic happens, I don't see him leaving soon. He is happy in Utah, and unless ND falls way off for the rest of the season, I don't see any of the three jobs he really wants opening up. I don't think that he will leave for another BCS team besides those three. And if Utah can keep a great coach like Majerus for a long time and make him happy, I think that they can make Meyer happy also as long as he keeps winning.
So long as he keeps winning, at some point he becomes ND's first choice, if and when Ty is let go.

He handled it all wrong.
I think he's learned a lesson from that. He's just not talking about it, from what I've seen.
Smart move.
O I agree, the way he handled things was very shady, but really, he had valid reasons to leave, even if they werent the best.

Report in the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette today says Pitt is interested in Urban Meyer taking over next season. However, they end the report with this comment:
Urban Meyer, head coach Utah. He's the hottest young coach in the country based on his success at Bowling Green and Utah. He was an assistant at Ohio State and Notre Dame, giving him a near-perfect resume.
Downside: He's on the fast track to one of the top jobs in the country and wouldn't likely be interested in a stop at Pitt.
