Per Loeffler it has always been the plan to bring in another offensive lineman or two in the spring. He said something to the effect when introducing Feb signees.

Maybe that was the plan because he knows more OL are leaving....they aren't mutually exclusive concepts
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

It certainly could be. Every program in the country is going to see more guys enter the portal between the spring and the start of fall camp.

Not sure what his story is. I checked a few box scores from Marshall and didn't see him playing in 2021. Maybe buried on the depth chart?

Not a grad transfer. Graduated from high school in 2020.

Good catch, I quickly looked at his profile and saw grad, didn't realize it was his high school.

We are in the Top 3 for Joey Ramos, Grad Transfer OT from Iowa State. His top 3 are BG, Tulsa, and Arizona State. Lots of offers, 6'5" 305 lbs. Would be a nice pickup and surefire starter.

Angelo State OL Willis Patrick has picked up an offer from BG. 6-4, 347. Was named to the top 100 elite players in Division 2 and Lone Star Conference offensive lineman of the year in 2021.

Got a commitment today from Kam Stewart. Transfer from Coastal Carolina, where he started a few and played most. 6'6" 280lbs. Likely a day 1 starter with a few years of eligibility. Nice pickup.

Outstanding! Starter material from an incredibly well run and well coached mid major FBS program. He will certainly bring good leadership and a good piece of culture. This is exactly the right type of transfer.

Hope he can deal with the downgrade in weather though.

That's a great add. He has D1 starting experience, and comes from a top 12 program from 2 years ago.
