Any ideas on an ETA DD?

I'll call around, but most of my regular tailgating friends are working, so it may just be me. I don't wanna hang out there all morning by myself, so I'll likely not try to be the first one out there this week

Does anyone like BBQ? I'm thinking about throwing a couple pork shoulders on the smoker Friday night, then throwing them in a roaster or something to stay warm for the tailgate. But if ya'll wouldn't be interested in eating that I won't, because they're way too big for just me to eat by myself

Definitely gonna have to take the fryer, some pizza rolls sound pretty tasty

I'm going to try to be there around 10:30 or 11:00, so if you don't plan on showing up before then you won't be tailgaiting alone!

Oh, and I would definately vote for the BBQ. 8) I can also bring some stuff for the fryer if you let me know what you want.

Lisa and I are going to try and get there as well. Where will you guys be and at what time? I'm all out of Yueng to bring, but I'll find something

10:00-11:00ish sounds like a good time to arrive for the 3:00 game. Sounds like we're going to try and be in the traditional spot along the grassy area on the far north side of the East parking lot. In the shadow of Mt. Forrest Creason

I think I'll plan on doing some pork up then, because it sounds good. If anyone wants KC style BBQ sauce, bring it yourself. I have some hot mustard stye sauce that I'll bring as well. I'll grab some buns too.

Warthog, bring the whole family, I don't care. The nice thing about pork shoulder is it is less than $1.50/lb

Bleeding: bring anything deep fryable. I have a bag of 60 pizza rolls in my freezer that I can bring, those are pretty good. But if you wanna grab some fries or other various appetizers that taste good deep fried, feel free. I have oil, so no worries there.

h20ville is my second favorite Rockette....my wife is number one. No, check that...three of my brother's went to UT (although one roots for Michigan because he got his master's there, another roots for OSU becuase he got his first BA there and the third roots for OSU becaue his son played in the marching bad...christ...I'm realted to a bunch of tekinini's)

I usually just buy Ore-ida if I'm making fries...from any grocery store. If you really wanted to, I suppose you could buy fries in bulk from GFS, but you'd need to buy a crapload of 'em

Or if you REALLY wanted to impress the crowd you could cut some potatoes into french fries and make homemade ones

I think I'd just buy the grocery store type though...

As for oreos, sounds good, haven't made 'em since the first time we did it at the spring game a couple years ago. Don't forget that Oreos need a batter to be dipped in though. DD brought the batter that we used that day, ask him for the recipe

Well, I certainly won't be impressing anyone with my culinary wit, so OreIda it is!
