I don't like space ghost, but that is a fairly nice looking helmet. I think the retail logo would ONLY work on a white helmet.

BG was one of the first schools to even have any sort of logo on the helmet.

Really? That I didn't know.

I tooled around on the helmet project a while ago and realized that our spray painted design was around longer than any of the other logos. Numbers and stripes don't count because those were around longer.

As one of the resident traditionalist change nothing types, I really like this helmet...pretty sweet. Good job 30.

I cannot stand the new logo, but I gotta say it looks a lot nicer on that helmet than it does on anything else I've seen it on.

Thanks - I know a tiny bit about helmets as I used to work in the Riddell reconditioning place in Elyria one summer (doing office work) and I know that helmets have a long use. Once we all go to Revolution helmets, something like this would look friggin sweet.

I have wanted to do that mock-up for a long time...

I guess we first need to figure out what is going to be our home jersey's next year. While a white helmet is good, it sometimes doesn't look right with the home (dark) jerseys. Next, I HATE the brown jersey on orange pants look. I think the brown with white pants with the orange helmets were the best we looked all year (EMU game).

Are we officially going to the retail logo? Because I was wonder the impression we're using the "updated" Falcon.

i still think the brown jerseys need to be used sparingly or else with all this new upgrading we'll still look unremarkable. i'm sorry but the plain brown and block letters it just looks, as ive said, cheap.

Orange helmet, white and brown stripe, retail logo, white facemask. Basically what we have now but with the retail logo.

Brown home jerseys with white numerals and orange trim.
White away jerseys with brown numerals and orange trim.

White pants with orange and brown striping down side that matches the helmet stripes in style. Home and away.

I love that helmet! I didnt like the white helmet, but with the orange stripe it does look sharpe and i actually like the black fask mask. If we do get a jersey change to like what louisville has, then i think those helmets would look really, REALLY good.

Not all players like the revolution helmet. You would have to force your entire team to use the revolution if you wanted that design. The new helmets would definitely not be a bad thing though. After the last three seasons, I'm getting really sick of seeing the old helmets that are now peach colored instead of orange.

Furthermore, I think if BG was the first school to make the switch to the whole team using the revo helmet, that would be yet another place where we leave our footprints on football history and I would love it.

I agree. 30, the first time I saw this helmet? Whoa! I don't even mind the new logo anymore. Some of you guys come up with great ideas.

I'm not sold on white, though. I'm not sure it's us. We've never done that here.

I'd be interested to see what the retail logo would look like with its orange spots turned white, on an orange helmet.
