I know it would probably never happen, but I would like to see aconference with: BGSU, toledo, Akron, Kent, Cincinnati, Miami OH, & Ohio Univ. Throw in another 3 close schools like Marshall, Pitt, Northern Ill, Ball State... Who are some other possibilities? Maybe the Michigan Schools? Keep it close and regional. Many of these schools already have natural rivalries. i especially like all the Ohio schools in one conference.
I posted this in the other thread, but I'd take the 6 current MAC Ohio schools plus Ball State, Buffalo, and Youngstown State (have them move up to IA in FB).

F the Michigan schools - they can add NMU, Ferris State, Lake Superior and NDSU and form their own conference :P

I'm not big on the Mich schools either. I would rather see Pitt, Marshall and UC. I know they are in a different league financially, but we can dream can't we? I like the idea of Youngstown State also. My cousin plays softball for them and they compete in 1-A. I don't think it would be that big of a jump for them to make the move.

I hope you get your Azz sued for breach of contract - pass around some of the $ you got for selling your soul (apparently).

I don't care how anyone "spins" it. You would have freaked out last year if it happened to you.

Before you blow a gasket, it was our own retarded comisar who screwed us again, not Boise - and just like last year. Don't be a dick to those nice people. Their school is not to blame.

What?

I need a link. I'm sorry if I ranted out of turn.

But this stinks like "someone don't want to come to BG because we are too good now" kind'a thing.

Help....

(And I'll bet that is the truth behind this)

it's not just the game with BGSU that's in jeopardy. we were supposed to play the Falcons in Ohio last year, but the MAC came to us and asked us to redo our schedule due to MAC conflicts.

our AD and Coach Petersen have both said this week that we had and have every intention of playing not only BGSU, but another MAC team next year that was part of last year's revised agreement. not only that, but we also have home-and-home agreements with Toledo and Miami... we're not even sure if those will happen now.

trust me, this is not Boise State trying to get out of an agreement. our AD and Coach are much more classy than that. and many of us Bronco fans were looking forward to the return game.

everything we've been hearing on our end is that the MAC has informed us that scheduling issues are causing the turmoil. we don't know why, we just hope it gets resolved for the betterment of all programs. it's frustrating on our end, too, not to know what next year's schedule is like, but our AD has assured us just this week that the schedule will be finalized in a couple of weeks.

hopefully we'll know something soon.

I think what you did pretty much defines it.

Sorry, Boise folks.
