The grass at the Doyt right now is in playing shape. So.....couldn't they just wait 2 more weeks before they begin to put in the field turf??? I really don't understand the decisions of our athletic department sometimes. I was so pumped to tailgate out at the lots before the spring game with everyone and now I have to go to a high school. I don't even know where BGHS is. Suddenly I'm not as excited for the game anymore. Bad move by BG in my opinion.

All of the FMB leadership is required to play at the game this year. Should be a pretty nice event. I don't feel its necessary to play the Spring game in the Doyt. Its a very large venue for a tiny audience. The HS stadium will make it seem like like a much cozier event and boost the excitement level by having us all much closer together.

Good point, Niz. I doubt I'll be hauling all the tailgate stuff up. Just ain't worth it this year. The Niz wrote:All of the FMB leadership is required to play at the game this year. So what's the word on tailgating? Are gonna meet up anywhere or is there somewhere by the high school we can tailgate at or is everyone just gonna do their own thing?

The high school is about a block away from the fairgrounds and it's grass parking lot... I don't know what the legality of using the space would be, but it's an idea. Also, the high school parking lots are large, and suitable for a tailgate, I just don't know what the rule on alcohol would be.
To get to the high school from I-75:
Take Wooster west to Mercer road
Turn north on Mercer, follow to Poe
turn west on Poe, follow past Main Street
BGHS will be on your right, football stadium is behind the parking lots.

If you are all there, what can they do? They don't have the man power to arrest all of you. I'm sorry I can't make it out early for the game to join you all this year. Last year's game was a great time. My girlfriend still talks about Falcon Fanatic as one of the only people she is taller than around here.
