I did happen to sit in one... yes.hammb wrote:Hey Grant, did you happen to sit in one of those seats? I haven't yet gotten out there to see how comfortable they are. I have yet to renew my season tickets and I'm not sure I want to pay extra for those goofy looking seats. I may just move back to the rows beyond the seats and save a little cash, if possible.
Ummm... I certainly don't want to discourage anyone from going with the seat-back, but I think it will definitely depend on your body type as to how comfortable they are. Felt pretty good under my tush, but wasn't a perfect match with my lower back.
I'd recommend heading over and sitting in one if you're not sure. I think they look cool and I think they'll be more comfortable than just a bench for most people!

Or watch on TV.
The seats look dippy, not unlike calling the Stadium "The Doyt." Curse the pee-brained media types that gave us that stupid nick-name.

Yeah... because... you know... it's silly to not call it Doyt L. Perry Stadium all the time. That's a much more marketable name. Looks good on t-shirts too!!NWLB wrote:Or watch on TV.

Perhaps the visitors from that other state university just north of here in the City of Toledo? I thought the contest was to take place in their Stadium of Glass this season. Thanks for the report, Grant. Doesn't matter to me....heck half the time I'm on my feet anyway...probably pissing off a few folks behind me.ZiggyZoomba wrote:I did happen to sit in one... yes.hammb wrote:Hey Grant, did you happen to sit in one of those seats? Anyway, I'm looking forward to seeing what they're like. I think Mrs. Freak will be a fan of the chairbacks. At least the Atheltic Dept is trying new ideas...some work, some don't. But I feel the effort is there to make Perry Stadium more fan friendly. Look how much it has changed since the 2000 season. We need to fill that puppy every game cuz the place rocks with a BiG crowd.
Just tee the damn ball up. Who cares about the seats??
58 days.......GO FALCONS!!
