BG-Minny Predictions!

I was thinking the score would be more like 84-21 in favor of BG. It will be compared to Nebraska's demolition of the Gophers in 1983!

This game sets the tone for BG's momentum. I would SO like to have one non rollercoaster season. I am predicting this one is going to come down to BG getting hosed by refs but capitalizing on turnovers to edge the trench warfare in an ugly contest, just because ESPN is there. A win is a win. Unfortunately, I won't be here to catch the nail biting ride on internet radio because someone organised a stag party this weekend which takes me to the, uh, Welsh Riviera as an able reveller, but I will be keen to get back on Sunday to see how the boys did.

Egads, I remember when that score was put on the tv screen and thought "How the hell do you score 84 points in a football game???" BTW, I thought the score was 84-13?

Who was it that Houston beat 95-21 when Andre Ware was QB?

Well, I must say I had the right prediction...only the wrong team. I had BG winning by 20 thinking it would be a close game thru 3 quarters and then BG getting a couple turnovers and scores in the 4th. Uh yeah...nice job, Freak.

Anyway, Congrats to the Gophers and their fans on the win. I hope they go on to have a very successful season.

5 turnovers will kill any team....ugh.
